“Nice and well-kept”
Reviewed 5 March 2012

Really nice park in the middle of rushing and noisy city. The place, where to get some peace, relax and be calm. Beautiful light-fontain!

“Unmissable”
Reviewed 3 March 2012

This was not our first visit to Hong Kong but how we came to miss this gem we do not know. Unfortunately the walk through avairy was closed for renovation but all the other attractions almost made up for that fact. The Tea Museum was fascinating and we had the bonus of seeing the winning entrants of a pottery competiton to design a Chinese teaset. What inovation! The conservatory on the ground floor was full of the perfume of spring flowers. Steps led up to a amazing cactus collection and then down to a tropical plant display. Out side the park was a delight of floral displays, ponds brimming with fish and turtles, as well as fountains and waterfalls. This park was once the site of a British Army Baracks and only a genius could have conceived this transformation. Do not miss!

“Great park to bring little kids too”
Reviewed 1 March 2012

Fountains, birds and loads of open spaces for kids to run around and play. We didn't take advantage of it enough!

“Greenery in the City”
Reviewed 21 February 2012

Nice to have a largish green area in the city. Butterflies, bird aviary, fish, waterfall & turtle pond & look out tower (105 stairs).
Bird life is prolific & bird lovers delight.
Relaxing place to take sandwich to eat., although you are not allowed on the grass. There are various seats to sit on.
