This is a lovely restaurant, quiet, as tables well spaced, despite being full. I thought each course was incredible. We had about eight, all perfectly cooked whether vegetable, lobster, beef. Fried rice with assorted seafood was sensational Wok-Fried Australian Beef Tenderloin with Foie Gras, Ginger and Spring Onion was amazing as was the sago, mango cream and pomelo dessert. Service was outstanding. No wonder it has three Michelin stars. Much deserved. But predictably extremely expensive.

If I have no other restaurants to compare, I would say this is an excellent restaurant. There is no doubt that this is one of the top-rated restaurants. I freqeuntly travel to enjoy nice restaurants and the dining pleasure is the main reason I visit Hong Kong too. I went to many of michelin star cantonese restaurants in Hong Kong for dim sum or dinner. As far as food is concerned, Lung King Heen is pretty much the same quality as other top restaurants. Every restaurant serves different signature dishes. It is hard to compare the level of food quality. They are all good in different sense.
However, restaurants are not just food. Top restaurants should provide pleasant atmosphere from the time of reservation until the end of eating including food, seat, service, view, and etc. In that sense, there are other restaurants with much better view, better service and easier reservation. Even as a hotel guest, I cannot make a reservation more than 1 month in advance for the next trip. This is totally ridiculous and the name may be more inflated than before. It is not worth that much efforts. I could make reservations for 4 other michelin restaurants for the same time period. If it is a walk-in restaurant, I will probably go very often. But with all these ridiculous reservation efforts, it may not be worth the time and money for travellers. Instead, I can enjoy other really nice michelin restaurants in the area with the higher level of overall satisfaction.
The difficulty of reservation may stimulate human's showing-off instinct. But I am not stimulated. Overall, I will go to other Michelin restaurants with more relaxed mind.

Amazing service, view and food. Certainly one of the best - if not BEST - Cantonese ever. I am actually lost for words to describe this beyond incredible. Whatever you do- if you are a wine lover leave yourself in Bernard's hands- amazing variety and taste that he can introduce you to! And now the food - not a bad dish - outstanding and so original if you let them guide you. OUTSTANDING cuisine.

Had a Friday lunch and intentionally only ordered from the dim sum menu.
I was just blown away, all the dishes were phenomenal. The backed bbq pork, the abalone puff were stand outs but all was amazing.
The dough mastery in this place is insane.
Service was really top notch and friendly. Will be back every time im in HK if i can book a table.

Amazing food and better service. Food was well prepared, came out hot and was fantastic. Order the Pekin duck and the seafood fried rice. The duck is the best I have had outside of Beijing. Wonderful evening.
