It is one of the main shopping streets (among many). It is full of malls on the main road which house all the famous mid range American and European brands of shoes, clothes, sports wear etc along with tea shops, and a food court on the top. On the side lanes there are local brands - name it and you have it here. It can get really crowded so you need to be careful of your possessions. But it was nice to stroll around, window shop and buy a few nick nacks.

It’s near to forbidden city. After you spend a whole day visiting at forbidden city, it’s a place you can come. This is a place where young people will spends their spare time to watch movie and shopping. It has a famous food Street in the area which sold alive scorpion and pups for eat. It’s a little bit scary when seeing those bugs on the food stand.

If you love shopping & street food, this is a must visit place for you in Beijing. Enjoy exotic foods & bargain shopping. Almost 80% cheaper than openning price. Easily spend two to three hour there

Wangfujing Street has the usual range of malls and shops. We spent time in the multi storey bookshops (2). Snack Street has both food stalls and trinket shopping. Be prepared for crowds at night. Be prepared also for what you might see on a skewer ready for deep frying. We weren’t too keen on seeing live scorpions on a skewer.

Caught the train which is only a short walk to the shops. A very interesting side street with a variety of foods... especially the scorpions on a stick.
