This is a quiet, clean, not luxurious but comfortable place to be in Nairobi at a very reasonable price, well located with people really willing to help you. There are nice places to walk around, it is close to good restaurants, so my suggestion is that if you are not a 4 star hotel guy, it can be your place to stay in Nairobi for a few of days

My favorite hotel in Nairobi. Have been staying for the last five years. Very friendly staff starting from the main gate, reception, kitchen and cleaners. Breakfast the best in Nairobi when you are vegetarian. No coffee and tea as the guest is affiliate to SDA but they allow to bring your own tea-bag and coffee Very clean and the internet connectivity is excellent. For lunch it is recommended the canteen which is used by people from offices adjacent to the guest hotel where there is a clinic and well being room for aerobics in the morning and afternoon hours. You can walk to down town Nairobi through Uhuru Park in 15 minutes. NOT advised to walk in the evening hours along Ngogo Road. The management of the guest house is effective and efficient.

Room Tip: Rooms on the new building NOT facing the main street are quite and big.

Stayed at the LMS Guesthouse for 3 weeks in June/July. The staff was very friendly and personable, always willing to do extra to make you comfortable. The food in the dining hall was good and it was a welcome convenience to have that available. Even the security guards at the gate quickly came to recognize us. The accommodations are basic, but clean. Rooms have both wired and wireless internet access. Wireless can be intermittent though. Electricity occasionally goes out, but was always back in 10 to 30 minutes. A candle is provided, but it would be helpful to bring a flashlight. You can walk towards the city center and reach a grocery/general store in 15-20 minutes.

Room Tip: If you are above the kitchen it can be noisy early in the morning and the coking smells enter your room.

Thank you sir! We now have a standby generator which picks immediately power goes off. May you make the Guest House your home away from home whenever you visit Kenya...

Wonderful staff, professional, friendly, and helpful. Good and substantial vegetarian food as it is a Seventh Day Adventist affiliate.
This was my second stay here upon arriving with my students. It is a good place to start your Kenyan visit. Safe, clean, and all the basic comforts. Wi-Fi strong. Gated, with security.
No complaints. Will stay again soon.
Note: Bring your own tea if you want to make a cup! Caffeine free guest house.
