Owner description: Two enthroned statues of Amenhotep III, each soaring more than 60 feet into the sky, are the first monuments visitors see on arriving in the West Bank.
Reviewed 6 April 2018 via mobile

There is just so little left if this place. Two broken statues of Ramses. It is free admission and lots of small vendors trying to sell you something. Ok to skip it.

Nice to see but it really is only a 10 minute stop to take a photo and get hassled by the shop vendors.

You can see them from the road itself, but nothing like going close to them to see and feel the place. It is beautiful and worth visiting, Normally if you go for a guided tour of West Bank this will also be included.

Worth a short stop-over for a photo taking, but be advised that the statues are badly damaged and barely have anything to show other than Ramses II giant legs - the "singing" one is no more singing due to its restoration (2 millennia back!) so don't expect anything "wow" from it at all..

A quick stop on the way to VOK,these are two colossi, but damaged very badly.
Some construction works were going on ,probably to control the damage and regain the glory.
For us, a 5 minutes stop was enough, but it can be explored more.
