Nice to see but it really is only a 10 minute stop to take a photo and get hassled by the shop vendors.

You can see them from the road itself, but nothing like going close to them to see and feel the place. It is beautiful and worth visiting, Normally if you go for a guided tour of West Bank this will also be included.

Worth a short stop-over for a photo taking, but be advised that the statues are badly damaged and barely have anything to show other than Ramses II giant legs - the "singing" one is no more singing due to its restoration (2 millennia back!) so don't expect anything "wow" from it at all..

A quick stop on the way to VOK,these are two colossi, but damaged very badly.
Some construction works were going on ,probably to control the damage and regain the glory.
For us, a 5 minutes stop was enough, but it can be explored more.

I heard about these two huge statues and really wanted to see them for myself. Huge is an understatement. It is deteriorating. Restoration is being done on them
