Stayed 2 nights as part of a tour.
We stayed in a room by the pool i.e. close to the river meaning a few minutes walk from the main complex via the walkway under the road.
The main Hotel was quite amazing - large and luxurious. Our room was also extremely large - so much space. But there were a few silly faults like a broken lock on the sliding glass door (towards the pool); a lamp that didn't work and a towel rail that fell off. Relatively minor really - but we mentioned it to the person in charge who asked how we were going. And to their credit a worker arrived to "fix" it. But it was a poor attempt and the towel rail immediately fell off again and the lock was still dodgy.
The staff everywhere were extremely friendly.
We had a few meals in the main hotel restaurant and they were really good and excellent value.
It was a good location and we enjoyed walking in the local district which offered a good experience of local life.
