“Quiet, Cozy and Great Breakfast”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 November 2011

We stayed here as part of our tour group so I cannot vouch for pricing/value but we had a comfortable stay here. We spent 2 nights and had breakfast, which was great with a big selection. We also ate at the Italian restaurant which was not bad at all and had great service. Everyone working at the hotel seemed eager to assist in any way they could. There is also a nice lobby area to meet up with groups and an ATM which came in very handy! We were there around Christmas and they had it decorated. The hotel also had beautiful grounds and courtyards. The location is very convenient for the Giza pyramids and is very quiet since it is outside the city center. The property is a bit older and the rooms are a little outdated but I doubt they are charging Ritz Carlton rates!

Me and my wife visited Cairo and stayed in this hotel. This hotel is the best in its decoration staff behaviour and services. We like this hotel due to their bunglow type rooms. The service is very good and the food quality was really great.

Room Tip: It is a bunglow type hotel. Try to take a poolside bunglow.

A good base from which to explore Cairo and especially the pyramids. Single storey buildings situated in beautiful gardens and quiet environs.

Rooms are spacious with large bathrooms. Spotlessly clean and well maintained.

There is a huge heated outdoor swimming pool and several restaurants offering reasonable food & drinks. Staff are polite and efficient.

The downside is that the hotel is located on the outskirts of Giza with nothing to see or do outside the hotel, but there is a free bus to the center of Cairo.

The hotel is abeautiful resort, 10 mins drive from the Giza Pyramids. The rooms are independent Bedouin style designed with a lot of greenery and water around the rooms. They have a good Italian restaurant and options of a roof top and by the pool restarants with a Sheesha lounge. Really enjoyed the breakfast spread Its location is also strategic in case if one wishes to drive down to Alexandria. The best part is that they served a variety of vegeterian food too. All in all a value for money.

Stayed here as family of 5 Oct 2011 at start of tour of Egypt. Rooms are basic, but perfectly fine. Grounds are very pleasant - low-rise buildings, with plenty of greenery and fountains. Gym fine, although dated equipment. Breakfast buffet just about OK - fairly basic, but plentiful and adequate. Service is good. One is really confined to the hotel for dinner as I didn't see any nearby restaurants and the hotel is a fair way from anywhere - plus once you have suffered the Cairo/Giza traffic to get here, you will not want to venture out again for dinner!

The pool was unheated - or only heated very slightly, which was not ideal, but it is a good size and it didn't stop my daughter from jumping in. If you want a convenient location for the Giza pyramids, this is a good location, but it is a long way from Cairo city centre - not so much in distance, but the traffic is so awful that a short journey can take a long time. So choose your hotel's location with care, depending one where you want to travel to.

Room Tip: Some of the rooms are a long walk from the restaurant/reception - this could be an issue for those w...
