Not really an attraction as it's a highway bridge. Filled with people standing on it randomly during traffic.

It's an interesting thing to see. It gives you a great view of the Nile. Just be careful when you travel over it to avoid rush hour traffic jams.

The 6th of October Bridge is a major feature in the traffic flow in this mega city. A huge construction that carries millions of cars, it is definitely one of the infrastructures that make life and commuting in Cairo less chaotic than it currently is.

Without this bridge you would not be able to go from one side of Cairo to the other unless you take the ring road. Of course this bridge was done and finished long before the ring road. The Sixt of October Bridge saved all of us living in Cairo, though it is always congested, it just goes to prove how could all these cars have moved both ways without it? You cannot avoid taking the bridge, but need to chose the time of day and days of the week you are going on it and in which direction as it can be tricky.
