We spent 3 days in this well-appointed, pleasant hotel. Service was excellent, with friendly, helpful staff. Our room was clean, nicely furnished and offered all amenities we needed. We had a small balcony overlooking the lake and the Shwedagon Pagoda. We ate twice in the Japanese restaurant (good food!), seated on the patio overlooking a wedding taking place by the pool The breakfast buffet was extensive. Good location - most sightseeing locations, shopping etc were only a short cab ride away.

Room Tip: Pool/lake view is good, but expect lots of weddings by the pool. However, noise dies down by 9pm.

I really can’t say enough about how awesome this hotel is. The friendliness of the staff, the wonderful grounds, and the overall ease of the experience make this a no-brainer for the next visit. And, what a view!

Next to the park and lake. Great for walks. The open air seating overlooking great views perfect for drinks and some food. Reasonable prices and great service. Managed to spend time as tough to find time during business trips.

This hotel is not well located, at least 30mins taxi ride form CBD. Everything is charged in US$ which is a rip off as the majority of expenses are in local currency. That is just a way of getting more money from the unsuspecting guests. Bar prices are very expensive, unnecessarily so. Breakfast was buffet, however it lacked much of what other hotels provide.
Other that that it is a normal 4 star hotel the same as in any other city.
