We had numerous good dinners here at reasonable prices. As other have said the decor is a bit tired but the food was good and a good by the glass wine selection too. We would recommend this restaurant to others based on our experience.

.....again it was disappointing. The decor is very tired (chipped tables, old chairs and stained ceilings) but apparently it will be renovated this year some time. The service was average, as we waited too long to be seated for lunch. I ordered rare steak with béarnaise on kumala mash but the thin steak was cooked medium (no excuse for this in Vanuatu the land of the awesome steak!), on lumpy mash which had a ring of orange oil around it. I questioned the waitress as to what the orange oil might be and she enquired in the kitchen and said it was house made chili oil. This was a strange response seeing as the menu didn't mention chilli oil with the steak (*chili oil with béarnaise remaining a strange combo), it had no taste of chili and was dense like a greasy palm oil halo. I was hoping they hadn't use palm oil in the mash instead of butter! My husband ordered the Rendang curry which was lacking in spice and had a bland flavour served with microwaved over-cooked rice. The atmosphere are more like an RSL club than a nice restaurant and the prices do not reflect the quality of the food.

A group of 16 visiting friends to attend a conference were wanting vegetarian food can be a challenge in a good restaurant. It was so good to see all happy with a great variety to choose from there as well as the view and air-conditioning that works.
wonderful happy friends were all delighted by it.

Superb restaurant - world quality chef. We stayed at this Hotel and enjoyed several lunches and dinners at Crystals Restaurant and each meal did not disappoint.
I particularly enjoyed the dinner specials each night - Curry, Middle Eastern, Seafood, Sunday Roast to name a few. All meat and fish is sourced locally therefore each meal was just so flavoursome and well presented.
