The Mekka Clock Hotel the Fairmont is located at the center of the clock tower.
The location can not be better, just a short walk to the Grand Masjid
The rooms are good. The food is nice. the service is excellent.

I stayed in this hotel for Ummra on Feb 2016 in a Kabbah view room. The view was like a dream. The hotel is so nice and clean yet a little bit crowded. the breakfast was very good but again very crowded. there was a kids club in which my son stayed for one hour and it was so nice.

This is a luxury hotel, within the famous Makkah Clock tower, very close to Kaabah, located above the shopping center, it has fitness and spa facility too, it also has a mosque as an extension to the Masjidil Haram Mosque, this can be very handy when you are not able to make it to the main Masjidil Haram mosque or when you are in hurry, fyi, since the Mosque is still undergoing a massive renovation, it often will be closed aprox 30 minutes before adzan so you can not enter the mosque/Kaabah zone anyway, you can only pray outside or you will be directed to the second floor and above, so the Hotel's mosque can be very handy in this perspective, it overlooking to Kaabah too, the restaurant has an excellent variety of Middle Eastern Foods, with real fresh juices and good quality of Kurma served, however they need to improve the staff hospitality especially the restaurant staff, at least can they smile and greeting ? the front desk are friendly, helpful and can speak good english... I believe this is the closest hotel to the Kaabah.. I would comeback and recommend it..
