Really nice boutique hotel in a very good, quiet location and a friendly welcome too. Only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is that the air conditioning was a little temperamental (I had to call twice to ask them to turn it back on).

This hotel was a gem. I adore boutique hotels, and this one really fit the bill. After a week of trudging around the country, it was a relief to settle into a small, friendly, bright little hotel. The beds were the most comfortable I've slept on outside my own home. Bathrooms were well-equipped, and I appreciated that room was stocked with clean robes, slippers, iron, tea/coffee, minibar, and lots of mirrors. It is situated in a lovely neighborhood near Paris Square, so plenty of dining options were available. The breakfast was a decent spread and pretty good. I also needed laundry to be turned around in 24 hours on a weekend, and they were able to make that happen, which is much-appreciated.

They could kick this review up to 5* by upgrading the bed linens. They were pilling and not smooth, even scratchy. Higher quality sheets needed. And as another reviewer noted, also sweeping the room floors daily. I had blackened feet by padding around the room, so at least I was happy for the slippers provided. Those two little things improved and they'd knock it out of the park. Still, I'd stay here again if I returned. Just... the linens, guys. You can do better.

This is a small boutique hotel with only 12 rooms. Our room was big with a couch and well appointed bathroom. The bathroom has a walk in shower and some toiletries were provided. There is not really a view as it is either the main road, or the back onto other flats - which I recommend as it is quiet. The beds are queen size and very comfortable. The hotel is located near some restaurants which are walkable. It offers a limited buffet breakfast which is adequate, and when we requested a non smoking area to have this the hotel staff were very helpful. I would happily stay here again if in Amman.

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the back of the hotel as it is quieter.

The Hotel is in one of the nicest areas of a not very attractive city. The staff were friendly and helpful and the Room fine but it lacked attention to detail----not enough toilet paper for instance , fridge didn't work, headboard falling off and the more junior members of staff could do with more training but overall a good experience. The Bar serves Alcohol and the Jam Sessions seem popular with young locals and ex-pats. We had one meal in the Restaurant which was good.

Room Tip: The Rooms are named and. 'Themed' after Arab Singers from the 'Golden Age' of Arab Music. This just gives rise to confusion!!

The staff here really make it a fantastic place to stay - friendly, helpful and straightforward. Loved the whole idea of the hotel as cultural project and being able to stay in a small and locally owned place was preferable to an international impersonal hotel. We had been booked into a room with a balcony at the front of the hotel but there was some traffic noise so we asked to be moved. The staff organised this for us with charm and efficiency and when we returned from a day out our bags had been moved to the new quieter room. Both beds were very comfortable! Went to the Monday Jazz jam in the bar which was great fun. The garden restaurant wasn't open while we were there but the food served in the bar was fine if not special and the buffet breakfast had a good enough choice and plentiful coffee.
It is a place where people smoke everywhere and even though the extraction system is powerful you are definitely in the presence of smokers! Consequently the bedrooms and bedding have a certain "essence of ashtray" aroma. Didn't spoil our stay though and would definitely go back. Friday nights host some very interesting musicians in the bar and being able to sightsee all day and have a great little club at the hotel was a huge bonus. Highly recommended!
