Like the name, it is located exactly in downtown of Amman. You can walk to the main attraction of Amman. Rainbow St, Roman theater and the famous citadel. The room actually doesn't look like in the picture, but that's ok. We had very big and comfortable bed. It's all clean. If I may suggest maybe they can put curtain in the shower so the water won't get everywhere in the bathroom and toilet.. The wifi wasn't really good (we stayed on 3rd floor) When I checked with the staff he said the problem is with my phone. I had to get connected through the restaurant above our room, but it was in the morning when we had breakfast and about to check out. They should've said something nice, instead of saying that the problem of the wifi is only with my phone though..

Art Hotel is really downtown Amman. it is within walking distance to the main Roman Amiptheatre and another Roman attractions. It is also adjacent to the gold souk or bazar.

The hotel is cheap and cheerful in lively central neighbourhood. There are plenty of eating establsihments, local shops, foreign exchgange and markets nearby. the hotel it self is simple at decor, not by design but by choice in that everything is simplistic.

Breakfast was included but it is what you would call continental, eastern style. overall it was clean, with decent facilities and middle/bottom end of market. Wifi was only available in reception. It served its purpose as a stopover for one night.

Room tip: as a stopover/ base worth considering.

We stayed at the Art Hotel beginning of this year. The rooms do not look like some of the pictures. Some bathrooms have really useless designs, which causes that everything is flooded. Air conditioning does not work proper.

The biggest down site is the staff. They charged us twice for one night on two different credit cards by claiming that it didn't work on the other one. We haven't even received a receipt of the first transaction saying card declined. Now I tried to get my money back for the last 6 weeks by sending pictures of the two transactions and explaining again and again. They are not willing TO HELP AT ALL!! Luckily it was only one night but extremely disappointing as apparently the manager doesn't wan't to help.

Located right in the heart of the bustling downtown Amman is this interesting hotel. Nearly all of its features deserves merit, except for the useless staff who man the breakfast area.

The good bits about the hotel are its large and spacious reception area. Air conditioning is blasting all throughout this hotel, which is especially needed in the brutal Jordan summer. The rooms are also very clean. While not modern, they have everything you need, they are also large, including the bathrooms, they give some basic amenities in the bathroom too, with room slippers as well. The rooftop balcony is great for chilling out and people watching in the afternoons and evenings.

My main complaint is reserved for the muppets who man the breakfast area. There was one morning when they ran out of plates an hour before service was meant to be finished. This meant that guests arriving at the same time as us were standing there waiting for any staff member to turn up and sort it out. I ended up having to go downstairs to get the reception manager to sort it out. They came out, only to give minimal food and crockery for the rest of us who hadn't eaten. Basic things like hummus ran out, no juices or water and no staff in sight for a good 5 minutes. We also had issue with the apathetic front reception staff, except for 1 guy, who was decent. The others were so indifferent and couldn't care less and you always felt like you were interrupting their mobile phone action or their gaming on the computers.

The hotel is a 20 minute walk from the action of Rainbow St and you can also walk to some nearby attractions within 20 minutes as well. Some awesome food outlets to be had, in case you're in search of local treats, such as mansaf, hummus, falafels and knefeh. A well-priced hotel with comfortable enough rooms and would stay here again if they sorted out their staff issues.

we chose this hotel because of its location and the good reviews here. Although we are usually the 4 to 5 star hotel clients, we had no regrets choosing and recommending this hotel. We had a great time and the reception staff is just amazing, something you won't always find in 5 star hotels. yes it might be a bid noisy in the street facing rooms, but hey, this is downtown and you can always request a back facing room. You are in walking distance of the main attractions and staff is very helpful to assist with parking. Rooms are very clean and functional. WiFi was working perfect even in the room.
