I think the seven roses hotel should strongly reconsider renaming themselves the three roses hotel that would definitely be a more fitting name for this hotel and for the purpose of this review I shall refer to it as such....

We arrived at the three roses hotel in the early hours of the morning (approx. 5am) Our check in time was 14:00pm and after being security checked and receiving a less than welcoming reception from the hotel security and front of house team, decided rather than paying for an additional night, which is what the guy on the desk was proposing, we would just wait around till a room was available for early check in.

We were shown into what I assume was an additional dinning area, which was freezing cold our bags were not taken (despite having a reservation), and given two pots of tea between us (approximately 2JD each, one would have sufficed between 2 people but hey :) )
Eventually at about 10 O'clock a room was available for us to check into and the gentleman on the desk had agreed to cut us a deal for breakfast which was 20JD for 2 breakfasts instead of 30JD for 2. (I would say this is overpriced given what you are getting)
Breakfast was laid out without many real people around to serve. There was a chef of some sort or just a dude in a chef hat who appeared to be making waffles whilst making phone calls on his mobile! I'd give the breakfast offering a 3/10. It was just scattered around the dining area, wasn't labelled and the waffle guy appeared to be more interested in making phone calls than serving waffles.

After breakfast we went up to our room which I'd give a 3/5 beds were stiff and not really comfortable but the room was tidy enough shower and toilet was small but clean.
After quickly realising this would be an expensive trip if we didn't budget correctly, we decided to visit the local supermarket to stock up on food for the next day (as neither one of us were keen to subject ourselves to an overpriced breakfast) We came back with some food we intended to put in the fridge, until we discovered the fridge did not work. Upon closer inspection, we realised the fridge didn't work because it shared a cable with the kettle (they'd cut into the cable from the kettle and joined it with the fridge, 2 appliances sharing one plug) The kettle also didn't work so no chance of a spot of tea either. So we ended up having to keep our smartly brought groceries out and crank up the AC in the hope that they wouldn't spoil.

After one awkward nights sleep at the three roses hotel we were glad to see the back of it and checked out the next day to set off for Petra.

In summary - Whilst the gentleman on desk had done us a favour by checking us in a bit earlier and dropping the price of an overpriced breakfast, I'd say service with a smile goes a long way. There was no welcoming spirit or hospitality extended to us, being that this was our first stop in Amman. I found the lollipop man just outside the hotel who appeared to be directing traffic more friendly than the hotel staff, who were mostly mute and shuffled around in the background. The breakfast is definitely not worth the asking price! (Can I get some waffles with that phonecall you are having please)
The rooms were average, and NO respectable hotel should have electrical arrangements such as what we encountered.

I'd recommend the hotel for literally a stop off one night, anything over a night, look elsewhere my friend!

Room Tip: Haha no chance of good views just rubble and traffic

Fairly new hotel near the airport, malls, restaurants and a supermarket. The front desk is helpful, check in is very good. The room is good, breakfast is so so. Overall a good hotel to stay while in Amman.

Appears to be a relatively new Property at a good convenient location, with many small eating joints within walking distance. The Galleria Mall is a 5 mins walk away, with many souvenir shops in the vicinity which are cheaper than souvenir shops in tourist destinations. .

The check in was smooth and the room was great. The reception was always helpful and courteous.

The housekeeping is an area that they can improve upon - on check in found an used soap on the sofa and during our stay of 4 nights the room floor was never vacuumed as the dust from Petra which we had from the first day remained throughout on the carpet.

The breakfast is average spread. On one of the days, there was no butter in the restaurant and requesting was informed that it is finished. Luckily on requesting from another person, took 10 mins for them to provide butter.

Its quite convenient to go from here to the airport with the drive to the airport around 15~20 mins.

The friendliest gentleman is the security guard/ watchman who smiled everyday when we left and even gave a small memento of Jordan to us on our departure.

The hotel is beautiful and located in a bustling neighbourhood with many restaurants and shopping areas nearby.
Housekeeping and room service were both very good. The duty manager at the reception was helpful in arranging cabs for us and meeting our other requests. The breakfast spread was good. Our room had a good city view
A pleasant and comfortable hotel to stay in at Amman
