We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were so helpful and pleasant. We had a great room. Loved the extra touch of bathrobes, chocolate and slippers. Great location and lots of choices for restaurants. Close to beaches too

I have lived at the P&B for about 5 months. It is a brilliant location - right next to the port and local services. Perfect for the beach, port, market, eating, walking, jogging in the park, the small zoo, gardens and SUP/rowing on the river or sea. As a business traveler although the car park is limited and needs to be booked, it is a really great location to access the road network North and South and surprizingly for TLV the traffic from and to this location isnt too bad!
The rooms are all you would ever need, the Suites are spacious and well equipped and most importantly the air coditioning is great. Some reviews identify the rooms as dark - in the heat we experience out here - dark is good! But Ive always found them light and bright when I need them to be. Black out blinds are essential for a good nights sleep here! For business travellers, the WIFI is ace - no problems for big file downloads, videocon/skype meeting.
Breakfast is a big deal in Israel - the hotel is in the process of building a restaurant on the ground floor however offers vouchers for breakfast at a number of local restaurants. My favourite is Nimrod at the port - lovely people, authentic and amazing food.... so dont let going out for breakfast put you off... its just a 5 minute walk!
The most important thing in any place is the people. As ever there is churn and change, however the core of Michael and Oren are always plesent, extremely helpful and make you feel at "home" which personally I really appreciate as I am away from my own home and family so much. The team are always there to book taxis, tours, advise you on travel, places to visit, answer those how to? questions or just have a chat. The housekeeping support team are a great bunch - good fun, hard working and accommodating - tiptoing arround me whilst on Skype meetings - youd never know they were there (except the rooms are sparkling and clean!)
Having spent time in many of the bigger hotels along the seafront and closer to the "centre" of TLV I have to say that I would always favour going north or south, away from the centre - you expereince more of the "Genuine" israel - it may not be perfect and yes, there is a lot of construction going on (Israel population is growing at about 2.2 percent per annum) - its a different country, culture and approach which makes it souch a diverse experience for business and tourism. P&B represents great value for money - you can blow 2x the ammount very easily on a room closer to the centre of town and not get half the experience in the process.

Thanks to the team for making me feel at home.

Very close to Namal / port TA . Vouchers to a choice of good cafes for breakfast . Room ok but poor design with glass door to bathroom means light comes in in the morning. Says sea views but windows are high so you don’t really get sea view unless you go right up to window . Nice touch with drinks and biscuits in the lobby . Lovely staff .

We chose a deluxe suit in Port & blue for the weekend, planning a sunny, happy weekend in TLV. what we got was the complete opposite. A dark, gloomy room, with small windows facing a construction site. No parking (the hotel doesn’t own one and the one they work with was closed) and no breakfast on site (the hotel provides you vouchers for a few cafe’s around the port, but the food is less than average and there’s that weekend queue which is unavoidable even upon mentioning you’re a hotel guest. All that for the lovely price of 450$ a night!
We asked the front desk to checkout a day early and after a long negotiation they set us free
We found a great room, at a much better hotel, five minutes away.

Dear Batchuk,

Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay in Port And Blue.

We appreciate any feedback, positive and constructive alike.

I would like to point out that the hotel does not own a private parking lot, however we do offer an arrangement with a parking lot close by.
Breakfast is served in four excellent restaurant, and allows our guest to enjoy a large variety of options all day long.
The hotel has a unique design as reflected in the photos published online. The dark ceiling is part of the design theme.

I am sorry we couldn't meet your expectations this time and do hope you enjoyed your trip to Tel-Aviv.

We were looking for a budget priced room for a night in tel Aviv near the port. This is a budget priced (by Israeli standards) hotel but top quality.
The room was quite big the bed super comfortable and all modern design.
It is a 3 minute walk from the port and a little further from the reading bus terminal. Also two minutes and you are in the fabulous yarkon Park.
Nice touch was free coffee juice and biscuits in the lobby.
They do not have a dining room but give you a breakfast voucher for one of four nearby places- all top quality- we chose to sit on the beach but there is also Cafe Nimrod in the port.
The clerk on duty Michael was very helpful changing us to a room on a higher floor as the sound of traffic bothered us .

Room tip: the higher the better due to many rooms being on a busy road
