We was 10 Days in this Hotel. This was our third stay in this year at Leonardo Art. But this time was the stay absolutely unacceptable. We was 10 Days in Oktober on Vacation.
When my wife checked in , the deluxe room was not real clean .After she told this to the stuff the room was quickly done. Next Morning she waked up with red Points on her Body.First she could not understand why it happens . Later she looked under the Bed .The Undersheets was full with mites. The Cleaningstuff was very shamed and changed completely all Sheets. My Wife asked why ist can be happens. So the stuff answer only that from the management they dont get order to Change the Sheets after every guest. This is the first time that I hear in a big Hotel something like this. After some Days there was a Cockroache in the Room ,but okay ist can happens in a very warm area also in Israel. So we wasnt so worry about this. But in the next day there was a big mouse in the wardrobe in the room. It was so big that the stuff outside was afraid to come to the room and take it away. It tooks a half hour until they found somebody from the stuff who was ready to come and clean the room from the mouse. Absolutely unbelievable Situation. It took 4 hours until we got a new room. All this time my wife and daughter has to wait with all Bagage in the Lobby. I was already in a lot of Hotels all over the world. But this I never saw and never heard. very bad Service, nobody takes care of the guests, the answer from the Deskmanager was: Everything can happens we are all only humans. Not Sorry ,no upgrade , no Discount - Ist my last time in this Hotel. I hope I never must come here again. Only the Breakfast is very good ,a lot of different meals. fresh and tasty. Also the pool they Close when they want .Sometimes at 4 pm, sometimes at 3pm , .If somebody is with small Children and they want to the pool .It can be that ist close in Oktober because there are not so much Guests and they dont want to pay the Guard maybe. Better to pay next time more but not to have so much Problems like here.

The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the location on the beach was great with bars and restaurants just a few flights of stairs away it was very good. Unfortunately there was for me a couple of down sides. While the young girl at reception was most helpful as she could've been at the time, with a bit more training it would have alot easier. The other thing was when you order a cold drink at the bar it should be just that not being taken out of a big drawer.

The rooftop pool is fabulous and the hotel is right by the beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is not the Ritz in terms of luxury bit the rooms are renovated and very comfortable. Definitely great bang for your buck!

Room Tip: Request a renovated room - although they may all be renovated by now...

Given its desirable neighbours you'd imagine this place would be half decent.... You'd be so so wrong.

Air-conditioning is crap - cooler in hallways than room.

Business lounge fridge stock not managed so runs out of everything

Minibars left empty deliberately.

No draft beer in bar which shuts 22:30

Breakfast ok but says available from 06:30 but not all fare offered at 06:30 as inevitably still laying out.

Located below motorway underpass, at least reception is in an area that looks like the Bronx.

Not my money as work was paying and still would not stay again.

OK, so there are some Buts--BUT the hotel so overcompensates for them. Rooms have no balcony, but beds are the most comfortable I've had away in a long time (and, they allow three adults in a room, with the extra bed being a real bed, not a rollaway!). Location is a bit unpleasant (only the entrance) but it's on the beach, near major sites in Tel Aviv. Hotel is physically a bit claustrophobic, but the artwork makes you feel like you're staying in a gallery or museum. So seriously, folks, staff was the best I've ever had in a hotel, the coffee was AMAZING (thanks to Yaacov). food nothing short of excellent, pillows and towels great, and the place is clean. Just book and go!
