We came in after dark, and after driving down streets that looked questionable we arrived at Arbel Suties Hotel. There is something off putting about a metal gate for their parking area.
First, I made a mistake booking the room. I reserved 2019, rather than 2018. However, the lovely lady, Paulina, at the desk said she had a room. Once the car was parked, and we were in the room we were very pleased. It had a livingroom, kitchenette, bathroom, and bedroom. It was clean and spacious, and comfortable.
We asked for a recommendation for dinner, and Paulina suggested a cafe just a short walk away. It was a small cafe, but a good choice for a late dinner.
The next morning, once the sun was up, we could see a bit more of the neighborhood. It wasn't as bad looking as we thought when we came in. There is construction going on across the street, but we were up before it started.
Breakfast was in their beautiful patio area. The ladies who prepared breakfast gave us great choices, and make omelets.
The owner's son, I forgot his name, was at the desk in the morning. Very nice man, and helped me cancel out the booking for 2019.
So glad our first night in Israel was at this hotel. It was a great start to our vacation.More
