Nice sea views and reasonably priced. Great restaurants in the area. Friendly staff and rooms are big and clean. Pity it's so far from Tel Aviv city though as the 100 sheckles taxi each time can be damaging.

It appears not much has changed in over a year from previous reviews concerning room quality. First impressions were positive, nice lobby area and friendly helpful staff. Into my room and dear oh dear. A glass was left in the bath/shower, the light switches were dirty and had clearly not been cleaned, the carpet was worn and the whole room and furniture just felt old and in need of updating. The picture quality was poor on the television. The small balcony overlooking other buildings and the beach was ok. The building work on the a new hotel/apartment complex close by started at 7am so that was a non-welcome surprise!! Breakfast was ok, continental style. Nice sea views from the breakfast room and patio area. The free wi-fi didn't work. It wouldn't be my first choice if I returned to this area. The hotel's USP is clearly it's location.

I stayed at the Sharon Hotel during a recent business trip to Israel. Good value for money.

Cleanliness: Good. Room cleaning twice per day. In the morning (8 am) and in the afternoon (6pm).

Service: Don't know, did not ask for it.

Location: Very good location. Lovely sea view.

Rooms: Very new furniture. Big TV screen located in front of the bed, a desk to work, a sofa and a small table, a fixed Minibar. Some fruits at my arrival. Thank you.

Sleep quality: The room was quiet, the mattress was ok.

Business: Internet access available along the hotel for additional charge. Business centre at the 2nd floor with very friendly staff. (Thank you very much!!!) Free food and free web connection there. Open 7am to 11pm.

Breakfast: Continental breakfast. No eggs and bacon :-(

Lunch/dinner: Don't know, out of the hotel during day time and Dinner.

Steam/Sauna and gym: closed for maintenance. The staff offered me to open the gym for me. However, I preferred to walk along the sea or to relax at the outdoor swimming pool.

Outdoor swimming pool: A dream. So nice to swim and then to relax sea-front.

Straight access to the sea closes at 7.30 pm. Keep it in mind.

Obviously the salty atmosphere of the location (directly on the beach of the Mediterranean Sea) is responsible for the hotels situation. Lot of corrosion all around, inside as well as out side the rooms. Rooms and cooridors looks a bit shabby. Refurbisment is urgently recommended!
Breakfast has been improved since my last stay two years ago, but the rest is still the same :-(
Short way down to the beach, nice (saltwater) pool, business center is convenient.
An advantage is the relatively quiet location (Herzeliya) and the nearby shopping center.

In general not very good value for money (as usual in Israel).
