We are US citizens and in early January 2020 had planned a trip to Israel for this October but were recently informed our Air France flight was cancelled with no alternate options. On Expedia we had reserved a room at this hotel during our time in Jerusalem. Due to covid restrictions on US travelers we are trying to cancel or at least postpone our hotel stay but can’t even get anyone on the phone when we call. Expedia reports I must deal with this directly with the hotel. I have tried to contact them directly and through Expedia to no avail. Are they open?

I stayed here for 2 nights at the end of January with my other half. We loved the hotel. It is centrally located just a few minutes’ walk from Jaffa Street tram station. There are a few casual places to eat nearby but I recommend taking the tram to the Machane Yehuda area where there is a plethora of bars, cafes and restaurants to suit all tastebuds and budgets.

Our bedroom was spacious and luxuriously appointed, including a coffee machine and a small fridge. The shower was huge!

The heated indoor swimming pool was great and long enough to swim some lengths. We also used the sauna and steam rooms.

There is a nice bar in the lobby area which offers a reasonable selection of beers, wines and spirits. We had a couple of glasses of Israeli wine which were lovely and not outrageously priced.

We found the reception staff to be really helpful. They arranged for a taxi to collect us very early in the morning to drive us to the airport and they prepared us a boxed breakfast so we didn’t miss out.

The buffet breakfast is amazing with an overwhelming selection of food and drink and great views.

This really is an excellent hotel and we would definitely stay again.

Booked a deluxe room. After the picture there was a Wall with a Window. There was a half Wall with a Window and a horrible view. The room was dirty. When I touched the picture my finger was black.
People in the reception where unfriendly and not willing to help at all. The security people where very helpful.
Breakfast was good. I will never stay here again.

This is a lovely, centrally located hotel - with nice amenities - and a very helpful, attentive staff. Raphael is a wonderful host every morning at the beautiful buffet breakfast that is served daily. This is one of the hotel's highlights - along with a terrific health spa.
