Too many details went wrong for a five start hotel at this price (hot food at breakfast buffet that was not hot, loud street noise in the middle of the night, limited seating on pool deck and no way to avoid smoking exposure.

This is our 17th year to the David Citadel. We’ve seen it at its best & worst. We are proud, because we truly feel it is our home, to say it is at it’s best ever. The changes in menus, the training of staff, the new & improved heads of the hotel, along with the best of the old staff, makes this a place you don’t want to leave & are proud to be at. Congratulations to Baha for pulling it together, to Munir for literally working day & night to accommodate, to Yardena for always having a smile & making sure it keeps working even at night, to Alysa for dotting all the “i’s” & crossing all the “t’s”, to the amazing doormen & crew that manage to get the bags to the right rooms quickly, to the front desk who greet you with a warm welcome & smile, to the concierge where no task is too large or small, to the kitchen & wait staff that remember your favorites & your name, especially Said, Samed, Ramzie, & Abed, to the Season restaurant crew who give you service with a smile & the chefs who give you delicious food & are ready to correct anything you don’t like, especially Issa, who keeps it in line, & to the maintenance crew that are always keeping it going. What a pleasure! It’s nice to see the hotel in it’s glory once more.

Tal Golan from guest relations was super helpful and kind.The hotel has breathtaking view, great rooms and nice atmosphere.We would certainly recommend for couples and families to visit this hotel, which is located right in the entrance of Mamila.

So nice to know you enjoyed your time in our Executive Lounge and that the staff was able to provide you with anything you required, even if all you wanted was a quiet place to plan your days and activities.
