This was our third stay at the Eden Hotel. The day staff was very friendly and although my room wasn't ready, they invited me and my friend who drove me there to enjoy a cup of coffee/tea and some pastries while we waited.
I met with another friend in the comfortable lobby. She lives in Israel and was very impressed with the neighborhood and the hotel. We enjoyed the free refreshments while we talked. My son arrived later in the evening. We had a spacious suite with its own balcony. We took a short cab ride to Ben Yehuda for dinner.
This hotel has great free Internet connections! We have paid up to US$45 per day at other hotels.
In the morning, there was an Israeli-type buffet breakfast. We checked out and left our luggage for a later pickup. The staff was very helpful with getting us cabs.
I love this hotel but I wish they would put locks on the bathroom door. Also, it took a while to figure out how to turn on the heat. It's a great place to stay but it is not for the novice traveler who expects an upscale hotel. The beds are very comfortable and the suites are spacious but otherwise it does not have the amenities that an American style hotel would have.
