Quite a cosy and modern hotel, rooms are fine and got everything you need. Also the view from the balcony is breathtaking! Location is alright but staff were absolutely lovely and would definitely stay at Commodore purely for this reason! Helped us out a lot to find places, recommended where to go and arranged transport for it. Great value for money!

The staff and management here are helpful, polite, accommodating and professional in every way. They are hands on in their approach to serving the guest. Also, their breakfast is a really, really good one. It is the one place I found that serves an excellent, traditional and full Arabic breakfast - with the type of good food I grew up on. If you want to enjoy the breakfast of a king, go here.

Room tip: My room was comfortable and accommodating. I cannot speak for other rooms in the building.

Friendly front desk and breakfast staff. Comfy room suitable as base if you are planning on spending your days, out and about. Basic brekkie, enough to keep you going. Close to Mt of Olives.
No proper laundry facilities. Hotel located in muslim quarter. Busy, fast traffic. Wifi works best at 3am-5am.

I have come again to the Commodore, as it is the perfect little jewel for my stays in the city.
The welcome at the Reception is heartfelt, Leila and the team are wonderful helpers, advisors and ever so imaginative of our needs. Meet the managers Monty and Nader, they are the friendly thinking tank of the whole hotel, you will like them, they speak lots of different languages and they are able to crack a joke with you in yours. It would be impossible not to like them.
The hotel staff is able to organise outings for you, advise you of excursions in Israel and the West Bank with reputable bus companies. They know of all the major cultural events in the area also, be it in music, arts, crafts of theatre.
The hotel is at a walkable distance to the Old City, the money changers and lots of shops.
The breakfast buffet at the hotel is something you will miss for a long time after your stay!
Mustafa and his team are a legend! Who doesn't like a Middle Eastern breakfast!!
Food items and drinks are available through the day and night.
The rooms are all pleasant, of good size with very well functioning bathrooms. They are cleaned every day by a team of dedicated men an women who tend to your comfort.

Public transport is right outside the hotel. A shuttle bus connects to and fro the airport Ben Gurion in Tel Aviv. The fee is 61 NIS.

This hotel is owned by a Palestinian family, and you can meet three generations of them in the hotel.
