I stayed here for a few nights and I absolutely loved it here. The venue is very cute and homely with a lot of Beduine style and accessories. The gen of this hostel is the rooftop. You can sleep up there and enjoy the skyline of old Jerusalem day and night ! The kitchen supply enough usentiles to cook your own meal to enjoy on the roof

The location is great. The facilities are relatively clean. I gave 2* because of the extreemly overcrowded dorm rooms. There were beds placed so close to eavh other that you could smell the other person. No ventilation in the rooms. Luggage storage is actually just an open corridor without any surveillance. The price does not correlate with quality.

This place is very central in the middle of the old quarter.
You van choose between shared or private rooms. The shared bathroom and toilet are cleaned a lot and eventhough there are lots of guests, you can comfortably take your shower.
From tel aviv the easiest way is with a sherut taxi. They drop you off at jaffa gate and you can walk up the stairs and follow the road for five minutes.
Next to a green door infront of the Tower of David.
The People working and volunteering are warm, friendly and give tips and detailed advice.
Defenitely a huge asset to this place.
My first experience in Jerusalem and I highly recommend this hostel.

Wonderful place in Jerusalem Old City.
This place has a high culture in backpackers and young independent travellers lifestyle. It has one kitchen with a fridge and many shared, clean bathrooms and showers. You can sleep in simple rooms (we slept in triple) or in shared rooms with double beds, or even on the roof! But on the roof could be a bit cold and windy! (Recommended only for young and brave) See the Old city at night, it's a huge experience.

There are two nice things about this hostel: the view, and the look of the hallway (although, truth be told, it is uncomfortably small). Everything else is quite awfull. There are some rooms, which are extremely small and completely filled with beds, leaving no room for bags or to move around. Than there is the roof. The hostel states that they can fit 30 people on the roof, but they will book more people there, thereby confescating the only place to just hang out, meet people and have a beer. There are extremely dirty matrasses and blankets on the roof and little to no pillows. Also; the matrasses are not thick enough to prevent you from feeling the hard ground. As said, the view of the roof is amazing, but you will be woken really early, around 5, by minarets or churchbells, the sun will shine on your face, and the temperature will rise quickly, after which there will be no escaping the heat or the sun. In the rooms there are just one or two power outlets, even if there are way more beds, and the roof has no power outlets at all. They also have just three barely working showers, while housing up to around 60 people. However, it is really cheap. Also 5 sheckles voor een nak.
