If there was an active tourist department in Israel they would have shut down this place a long time ago ! I believe prison wardens treat their prisoners much better than the way the chap at the reception treats tourists ! Unfortunately there are not many budget options in town but between this place and Arava hostel, ARAVA 100 percent.

I went to Corinne with my wife, we booked a private room. We stood in Eilat on our way to Petra, in Jordan. The hostel was OK in the sense that it provided a clean bed, hot water and... that's about it. The staff was not helpful and at times it was rude. We even got a parking ticket for following the clerk's parking recommendation. When we brought this to the clerk's attention, he shrugged it off and acted as if it was our fault, we decided not to argue with the person that had already proved to be unresponsive and unhelpful. We had a similarly unpleasant experience with different members of the staff, so we guess it was not just a coincidence. In general, I would recommend you find another place if you can afford it. If you do not care about having a good experience, perhaps traveling alone or just want a bed where to crash...go ahead and book, but expect nothing else than a bed and be ready to be treated in the worst way possible.

Room tip: I cant imagine there is any difference between the rooms. They seem to be all poorly ventilated.

Main conclusion: way too expensive for what you get.

1. Staff
The Staff is very very rude. The get really annoyed when you ask for change when paying. They are not afraid to scream on you or to call you names, in hebrew of course. At 00.00 you have to go to bed or go out, otherwise 'they will call the police'. 1 girl was refused despite having a reservation of 6 nights, while another girl got a bed while not having a reservation.
2. WiFi
Free WiFi is included. The WiFi doesn't reach the rooms, so you have to check your phone everytime in the common area. At 00.00 they shut down the WiFi because you have to go to bed.
3. Dorm beds
The beds look like they can collapse anytime. The matrasses are very thin and you can feel the structure underneath it. The stairs for the upper bed are dangerously unstable.
4. Dorm facilities
There is a fridge you can use, but it doesn't function. There are no lockers available. Plugs to charge your phone are available at 1 side of the dorm. On top of that, there are not enough plugs for everybody. You do not receive a key of the room, so there is no option to secure your luggage. Airconditioning was present but didn't function as well.
5. Bathroom
Bathroom was clean but no toilet paper. Also, the shower head doesn't have a support.

DON'T BOOK THIS HOSTEL

Btw the pictures are not representive at all

I was not even going to bother writing a review for this place but travelers need to know. Staff is so rude and not knowledgeable about anything. I asked for a map of the city and got chastised for it. A simple map! I asked the lady at the desk about the reef in Eilat, she didn't even know Eilat has a reef. Check in was so painful bc the bald man behind the desk was more concerned with watching his tv show than helping costumers. The garden is full of creepy statues that make the place look trashy. All in all I would not stay here again and would not recommend anyone else to do so either. Horrible.

Room tip: go somewhere else, believe me, you will be better off.

The staff is absolutely stupid and bad manner. They should learn how to deal not with tourist, but with people. I've travelled a lot and this is the worst place so far I've stayed in. The air conditioned is also very bad.
