Stepping out of your bedroom onto a terrace for breakfast overlooking the Church of the Nativity is very special, especially when it is served by Nabil the owner and his mother looks on and ensures your every need is met!
I stayed here because my normal hotel, the Manger Square, where I stay 4-5 times/year was full. Despite my enjoyment of MSH with its 200+ bedrooms, Dar Sitti Aziza (the House of my Grandmother) is a 100% different experience - a boutique hotel? More of a family home. Nabil is there 24/7 to welcome you and even drove me to Beit Jala to avoid me getting a taxi. The Bride of Bethlehem was a lovely large room with a very different shower, cleverly created from a 500 year old room. Everything you could want was provided in the room. The wifi was superb, homemade local pastries, a fridge, supply of fresh fruit and crisp new bedding daily and everything spotlessly clean.
Thank you Nabil. I will be back.More
