Sports Club & restaurants set in extensive grounds (giving a tranquility rare in this bustling city) with the main dining area and pool overlooking the Bosphorus & it's European shore from upon high. Both restaurants are used for weddings, especially during summer. Lufer (blue fish) when in season is excellent. You can walk on a steep road through the grounds down to the shore and Kandilli Iskele (wharf/quayside) - or more challenging up from the Iskele.

We've never seen any tourists here in more than four years visiting, as it's not exactly on any trail and doesn't appear to promote itself beyond a signs on the Coast road (here called Kandilli Caddasi) and Rasathane Caddasi - the main entrance on the top road. Buses from Uskadar and Cengelcoy pass by both the upper and lower entrances. Nearby are Anadulo Hisari, the cafés around Goksu Stream and Küçüksu Palace.

Service has always been friendly, attentive and relaxed.
