The first thing you will discover about this hotel is that taxi drivers do not know about it! So, when you get given the card with the hotel's address and location make sure you carry it at all times. Once you arrive you will immediately discover the friendliness and eagerness of the staff. Sitting in the pleasant lobby we got an introduction to the city and its sights from the concierge who puts himself at your disposal.
Our room (203) was a very spacious corner suite - even with a z-bed for a child it didn't feel cramped. Now, my first minor gripe; while the bed is very wide and comfortable, as a six-footer I found my feet dangled over the edge. There is a nice LCD tv on the wall and surprisingly enough tea and coffee making facilities. I was very impressed with the bathroom; it is spacious and was kept very clean. The roomy shower-cubicle has a handheld shower as well as a lovely rain shower head under which you can sit.
Breakfast is served in the roof-terrace restaurant and has all the eating options you could want of a morning. Really nice to sit there and take in the lovely views over the rooftops to the Sea of Marmara.
When you want to go exploring you will find that the hotel is only about 10 mins walk from the nearest tram stop and about 15 mins walk from Blue Mosque, Aya Sofia etc.

Fantastic - the staff could not be more helpful - especially Serhat who helped us with trips and managed to get us accross the Bosphorus to see Fenerbahce play football! Rooms spacious and comfortable and the restauarant/breakfast room on the top floor has great views. Located in the best part of the city (the old town) for the sights and right next to the Kumkapi area with great fish restaurants. If you're not up to the 10 minute walk uphill to the Blue Mosque and the other sights then put your life in your hands and take a taxi from the hotel at only 5 lire (less than £2) - quite an experience as is the rest of the city! Great fun! Great hotel!

Room Tip: Not necessary as the best views are from the restaurant on the top floor

Compliments to the management... From the minute we arrived we felt like the only guests staying, so attentive was the service. The concierge sat down with us and mapped out all the places we wanted to go and provided opening times. Then we got settled into our room with it's gigantic bed. The bathroom had a rainwater shower plus separate shower head in a Turkish-bath style cubicle. There was a mini bar, tea & coffee, free wifi and hairdyer all as standard - mini bar wine wasn't great but nor was it overpriced. We had to nudge them to restock it, very minor complaint in an otherwise fabulous experience. As others have commented, having breakfast on the roof terrace was a lovely way to start the day; plenty of choice, but don't expect a full English - it's a pork-free country! On our first night we ate our evening meal there, with a view of all the lights across the city; slightly off-putting having violin played? Some Turkish music on a cd, at a low volume would've been preferable... We might have eaten there a second time too?

Just returned back from a short business trip to Istanbul, what a magnificent city. I've been to Istanbul few other occasions , this was the first time staying at Ottoman Hotel Park as I was looking to stay to the International airport due to an very early return flight. Hotel is well located for getting around , rooms are spacious, very clean, good Wifi , comfortable , good size comfortable double bed. Since I was off to the airport early, skipped the breakfast, but I'm sure it was good. Not enough time to explore the hotel in full, I was very pleased with the service received.

We stayed for 4 nights at the Ottoman Hotel Park with great success. Everything that has been written about this hotel regarding rooms/terrace/breakfast/location is similar to our very positive experiences. However we just wanted to mention how truly helpful and happy the staff were. Nothing was too much trouble and they responded to every small question or request with relish!! The hotel is relaxing, friendly, very comfortable and we consider that it was a great find!

Room Tip: Our room was facing the main street, but it was very quiet and even with the window open, we did not...
