After being on your feet for hours in Chora Church, this is a great place to sit, have a cold drink and enjoy lunch. Good food, pleasant staff. The terrace setting is stunning, shaded. really enjoyed relaxing here. When we visited, there was also a vendor set up right at the edge of the terrace with authentic Turkish crafts, scarves and more--same things you see in Grand Bazaar at substantially lower price. He was great, gave me a good discount for buying multiple items. Keep an eye out for him.

A great place to have an iced tea, baklava and light meals next to the Chora (Kariye) Museum. The staff are friendly and professional. It is also a good place to have a light lunch. Recommended!

It is a good place to have sisha and the sisha is very delicious there. Also it is cheaper than all other cafes. And the staff is really interested with you. During ramadan it is agood place to have nargile during late nights...

The setting was pleasant. Trees, shade, open space, right opposite the ''Moni tis Choras'' museum (if I am not mistaken about the name). In general it seemed very ''plastic'', very ''touristy'' if you know what I mean. The prices were fine, the food was also fine, however we were there about an hour before anyone took our order (even though the place was almost empty) and it took almost another hour for our food to arrive. The waitor seemed annoyed with us when we asked for our food. Service was not very careful (e.g. knives and forks held by the ends that go into your mouth) and the bathrooms were like in a very bad state which I will not describe but I would bet it would make some people vomit.

The food is OK---basic Turkish fare for tourists. Given the type of food and its quality, the prices are high. And, curiously, significantly higher on the English menu than on the Turkish menu! Our waiter gave us a Turkish menu (presumably inadvertently). When it came time to pay, he billed us the prices on the English menu, but reduced them to the prices on the Turkish menu when we complained. If I am in the area again, I will look for another restaurant.
