One of the best hotels I've stayed at. It compares favorably to Ritz Carlton and other super luxury hotels. Original works of art in the lobby and the rooms are spectacular. The hotel is well situated - 5 min walk to Taksim square. The rooftop restaurant has a great view of the city. The staff are very friendly and the rooms are well appointed.

I recently stayed here for 6 nights with my wife. We picked this hotel due to its location and we are grateful we did. An easy walk to Istiklal, which means you have great access to Taksim on one end and Galata Tower/Bridge on the other. It is even within walking distance to the Blue Mosque and surrounds as well at the Grand Bazaar.

The hotel is immaculate. The bathrooms are nothing less than floor to ceiling marble with double sinks and the beds are extremely comfortable. 4 floors with lift access, a bar and terrace serving buffet breakfasts. The personnel are extremely helpful and welcoming and the service is excellent.

If you enjoy some class after having walked all over Istanbul and plan on sleeping like a log on a massive bed in a quiet location, only 5 minutes from Restaurants, Bars and shops...then this is the place to be.

Room tip: It appears most rooms have bosphuros views

The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the staff attentive, and the location perfect. We stayed for a too-short week, visiting historic sites and eating wonderfully. The tram is 5 minutes walk, followed by 7 minutes ride to Sultanahmet. The Walk to the tram passes coffee houses full of locals, trendy shops and - my litmus test - a bakery. The other direction is less than 5 minutes from the center of night life. Why wait?

Stayed here October 2017. I felt welcome and almost as coming home to a family member from the moment I checked in until the moment I left. Staff was friendly and polite. Room was magnificent. No complaints whatsoever. The place to stay when you are in Istanbul. And what a view!
