My family of 4 adults and 2 children visited Istanbul during August 2017 for 7 days.

Before arriving, the email communication with Adamar was very good and reassuring. On arrival at IST airport at 11pm, we found our name on the board just by the exit and a young man took us to our hotel shuttle vehicle. At the hotel we were allocated 2 rooms on the first floor (105-double room & 106-family room) and found these to be clean and adequate for our stay.

Breakfast was buffet style, served in the rooftop restaurant which had beautiful views all around.

Rooms were cleaned each day and towels/toiletries were replaced if necessary or on request.

We found all the staff to be friendly and helpful and able to offer their advice - A special mention for Gokhan and ilhan on the front desk and also Murat in the restaurant. A selection of tourist information and maps are also available on the front desk, if required.

The hotel is situated a few minutes walk from the main attractions and also cafes and restaurants. The tram stop is also here for those who want to be more adventurous and independent - the Istanbulkart is recommended for travelling on the tram.

When departing, the check-out process was very smooth and our airport shuttle was arranged to ensure we reached the airport in good time.

We hope to return to Istanbul (and Adamar) next year, as 7 days was not enough to fully explore what this amazing city has to offer.

Room Tip: In my opinion, it is better to choose a room higher up as we found the 1st floor a little too noisy with the people/cars outside.

Great little hotel.
Very central - close to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern, Grand Bazaar, tram line etc.
There are lots of little cafes, restaurants, convenience stores and the like in the area - all the things a tourist needs.
The Panoramic Restaurant in the hotel lives up to its name with views of the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Bosphorus and the city in general. I particularly enjoyed dinner, when I could sit and look at the city lights.

Great location in old sultanamet. You will enjoy a great breakfast and friendly staff. Walk to most of the big sites and enjoy the lid streets. We always felt safe in this area, no problem shuttling to and from the airport

We allways love to be there.
To visit Istanbul, our second home, is still become a tradition.
The friends we found there make us feel welcome every time we stay.
Shopping is a factor to come to Istanbul and , of corse, the culture.
The different smells on the sidewalks invite to stop an taste what is offered.
It became a part of our live to welcome spring and fall in Istanbul.

We booked this hotel at last minute relying on Trip Advisor reviews. We were not disappointed. The hotel is so close to the famous landmarks. Breakfast is buffet and extremely good with plenty of choice. Hotel has a lovely rooftop where one can have dinner. Our room was comfortable and was cleaned everyday. The receptionist Gokhan was extremely helpful and so polite. It was lovely chatting with him (cannot remember the second receptionists name). I would definitely recommend hotel to friends and will stay there again given the chance.

Room Tip: Hotel rooms are based on 5 floors. Rooms are not large but size is sufficient for purpose
