This hotel provides the ideal experience for travelers. They are phenomenally helpful, including adept at English. So, even though I practiced my Turkish before arrival, they had my back when I wasn't able to convey my wishes. The room was cozy and quiet. The breakfast was outstanding! Most of all, the centralized location makes this Istanbul jewel shine brighter than the others. We literally walked to all of the most highly recognized sights: Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, The Cistern, The Bazaar, and the Archaeological Museum. The loveliest facet of this gem is its sapphire panoramic view of the city. You can sit under and azure star-lit ceiling, eating fresh, authentic Turkish food, while gazing at the glory of the great mosques and the Bosphorous. What a dream!!

A home away from home. 6 nights November 2012, a large corner room, very clean, and both air conditioning (once I learned about the snowflake symbol) and heat worked perfectly. I sleep like a rock, so noise doesn’t bother me. I feel that the room was well insulated compared to my tour group hotel in the Istanbul university area.
I chose this hotel because of reviews, recommendations and the 360 tour on their website. Also because the hotel is within walking distance to public transportation and all the major tourist sites; the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern, Topkapi Palace and the Grand Bazaar. The views from the top floor restaurant are better, in my opinion, than the 360 from the Galata Tower and Mosaic Hotel. There are lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. The reception and restaurant staff were also very attentive and helpful without being overbearing. Reception provided useful information on trips. Besides the corner rooms, the other rooms are modern and functional, though they are small – look at their website. I highly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Due to Istanbul vagaries of the sewage system I would go for rooms on 3rd floor and up. The 5th floor has some noise from the restaurant on the 6th floor.

We spent 3 nights in this hotel. The room was rather small, but clean and fresh. Breakfast was rather poor but still ok. The view from the restaurant was grandios. The beds were comfortable Location of the hotel is excellent. Close to Haga Sofia, Blue Mosque, The cistern, Grand Bazaar and Top Kapi palace. Also near to public transportations. And lots of restaurants nearby. Would absolutely recommend this hotel.

We have just returned from a lovely trip to Istanbul, where we stayed in a triple room at the Adamar. The room was on the small side, but was clean and tidy, with plenty of wardrobe space. The beds were comfortable with proper pillows and quilts. The rooms main downside was that the bathroom was affected by drain smell, which on occassion could be overpowering.

Breakfast was basic, but tasty and the staff were very helpful. The view from the breakfast room was exceptional. The reception staff were also very attentive without being overbearing and the wicked side of me smiled when we checked in and the young lad from reception put us in the lift, but still managed to beat us to the third floor. The fact that he could barely get any words out when giving us information on our room indicated that he had risked a coronary by running up all flights of stairs. Impressive and amusing.

The hotel offer a free airport pick up service on arrival and a very inexpensive return drop off. The hotel is located in a lovely area approximately two minutes walk from the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia in one direction and The Grand Bazaar and one of the oldest Hammams.
