We saw Mark Wiens had visited this market so felt we had to go. A very local market in a narrow street Rue Phai Nam. Mainly locals picking up food on the way home. There are few tables and chairs. The best spot is the concrete table near the beer stall about half way down the street. Specialises in barbecued meats but also fried chicken, roast duck various dishes of green vegetable and salads. Go early to secure the table, buy a beer and a couple of items of inrterested, then keep trying different stalls until satiated. It is a great night just hanging around, eating and watching the action. Really worth a visit just for the experience but some of the food is also pretty good (and cheap)
