Room/ Hotel: Facilities (Air-Con, Wi-Fi, Shower heater) were working fine. However, the room door lock was not very good. No windows in the room, but that also means less mosquitoes/ insects flying into your room. In fact, this room is great if you're easily disturbed by mosquitoes (don't think there were any mosquitoes). Room is generally clean (except walls have some dirt stains). There's also a small elevator on the ground floor which is great for those staying at the higher levels. We stayed at the 3rd level Location: About 10-15 mins walk away to the riverside where the hustle and bustle is.

Staff: Friendly counter staff, can speak English but limited. There's a security guard at the entrance too.

Breakfast: Was quite disappointed with this as there was supposed to be breakfast, but because we stayed during Pchum Ben period (a 3 day religious national holiday to celebrate the ghost month), they did not have breakfast. Take note as this holiday period falls on different dates every year so try to avoid traveling during this period as most markets will be closed to observe the festival.

Overall: Although the hotel seems old, I'm satisfied with this hotel - value for money for travelers trying to save and don't complain much.

Mediocre hotel but it's hard to find anything better on a budget in PP. definitely one of the worst places in Cambodia to look for Accom. The hotel was still the best we've seen for a $20 price. Restaurant staff friendly, receptionists polite but don't seem to care, so if you need something done you need to push and say it firmly. Breakfast ok for the price. Rooms clean but a bit worn out. Lazy housekeeping, no change of towels or linen or refilling of amenities in the bathroom unless you ask at the reception for the room to be CLEANED PROPERLY, then it gets actually done. The construction outside is a bit of a pain but it's not the hotels fault so can't blame them for that, they're trying to make the best of it. Wifi is alright, at times spotty. Good location. Would recommend if you're in Phnom Penh but if you can, avoid this city. Go to Battambang instead.

I've been here for the first time in Cambodia. The room is ok, staffs are very friendly. Especially, the location is at the city central, so it's quite easy to go to many places in the city by walking or by tuk tuk (the small 3-wheel truck)
The reason why i rated 3-star is due to water outage.
Note: from the hotel to the Royal Palace is about $4 by tuk tuk.
