Under no circumstances should any guest entrust laundry o the hotel staff, missing itms are very stressful to recover, ruined my day. Check-in was a true nightmare. Found out later the vast majority of rooms are TINY and WINDOWLESS. Just silly to see staff hand carry one of the few rusted/dead battery safty boxes to the room. No working internet station as advertised. Breakfast bufft of horrors. Cases of eggs stored on floor of hot kitchen were fried hard and piled in a pan. Only time buft line was heated was when owner's wife came to visit. Some sheets so worn out and rough as to diturb sleep. Take your room key and elevator card with you when you go out. Otherwise your room key will be openly displayed on the font desk counter advertising you are out. Twice I was offered others' room keys. One night at 1Am my keys were missing from the desk and the downstairs guard was discovered with thm at the back of the hotel! Never a hello o smile from this guard, just a cold hard stare. Room doors have so many gaps as to b see thru. Some creature scurrying about in ceiling most nights, rats/mice?

Room Tip: don't even consider staying here

Great location in the heart of the local bar scene. The price is perfect at 20 bucks the rooms are clean and quiet and the staff are pleasant and helpful, tuk tuk drivers outside can be a bit annoying but that comes with the territory.

Accross the street from an all night boom box and popular entertainment area, NaNa Hotel is an inexpensive, well located and westerner friendly choice to stay while in Phnom Penh.
You can easily walk to river front and enjoy the sunset. Stop along the way at the National museum. Walking north one can reach the iconic Wat Phnom, where there plenty of eateries bars and clubs.
Hint, if you are a light sleeper, I recommend a room as far from the hotel's front as possible.

A solid price-performer with a good mid-town location, the NaNa, at $20 for a couple, calls me back, after a 2-year absence in PP.

However, the place has surely been widely used but not so widely and well kept up. While the mattresses are great, the rooms show obvious wear and tear. And maintenance isn't keeping up.

The elevators aren't kept as clean as last time I was here. Still, for $20/night, I can put up with a little less than first class upkeep.

Room Tip: Try to get rooms away from Street 154, a busy throughfare.
