The 'fresh' salmon salad had several wispy pieces of tasteless smoked salmon which was totally overpowered by the spicy dressing. The potato cakes however were what I came back for, 9 pieces of deep fried potato with two dipping sauces. OK, pretty basic stuff I agree but a childhood memory worth revisiting.
The service outside was sadly lacking and I had to eventually go inside to pay the bill which was quite pricey compared to their recently closed competition several doors along Sisowath Quay.
