We were lucky enough to get this as a freebie because a friend of a friend could not use the allocated and paid for booking. We had a long weekend at the resort on one of the famed water villas. I can't fault anything except for the value for money. In Vietnam it is definitely the nicest place I have stayed in. The staff have obviously had international level training and the design and construction have of course been done by foreigners.
Our arrival was smooth and the room we stayed in was the top-end 'dream tropical over water' bungalow (very hard to sleep in actually if you are unaccustomed to stone silence). The food was good and the ambiance of the whole place was spot on. Water quality is not fabulous in comparison to regional options(Malaysia, Philippines)- but that is true of all of Vietnam. Anyway, the Six Senses is a place set up for older, wealthier clientele who would rather sunbathe than snorkel. I would not hesitate to go again if it was free, but, I would not pay the sticker price however, however, that's just me.More
