This hotel was good. It has a pool and was close to the beach. Also close to conscience stores and restaurants. The aircon was really good in these rooms. The beds were a bit hard, but dealable. The wifi was pretty slow. The buffet breakfast was good too

Poolside in July it is swimming lessons from 0530. Grumpy swimming teachers and well dressed mums drinking tea. This aside the pool is good with shady spots to lie. Hotel only a few hundred metres to the beach. A very big hotel, took standard twin rooms out the back, while dated and a bit run down the room was clean with big beds. Aircon worked well after a few complications with batteries. Not much chance of sleeping in withe the endless loop of the poolside soundtrack from 0630, but who travels without ear plugs anyway? Breakfast extensive and great quality.

Firstly, Nha Trang is an area that is very much under development, so it was by no means a pretty spot.

The hotel was quite disappointing, it was all very cheaply done, not very clean and very noisy. Most of the staff spoke very or no English, so everything from getting directions to ordering room service was a trial.

We also tried to have washing done here, but after asking for it to be done 4 times with no luck, we simply gave up.

In saying that, the hotel was in quite a decent location, near to the beach.

I wouldn't stay here again.

We arrived at the hotel that was booked for us , he pool was under renovations ,so we were moved to the Vien Dong Hotel. We arrived late in the afternoon very hot ,hungry and tired. The staff were very hard to understand and didn't understand much English. We were not told much about the hotel , not even were we could eat or where the pool was .
Our room faced onto the street which was good as we could watch from the balcony the traffic and people passing by . We finally found the pool area and seating down the far end , no lounge or drinking area, waited for ages to find someone to get a drink, which when it did arrive the beer was hot. The noise from the kids was deafening. We tried to have a swim ,what a joke about 30 or more kids having swimming lesson taking up not only the main pool but the wading pool as well. So needless to say no swimming at the pool, so we had to go down to the beach again hundreds of people, motor bikes everywhere , so not relaxing at all.. This went on for the two days while we were there. Breakfast on the first day hardly any food left very average , so we decided on the second day we would go down early and it was the same, hardly any food for the amount of people that were there eating. Our room was very nice and we had no complaints. The hotel is very central to everything , I seen a tennis court at the back of hotel , not even sure it went with the hotel. Need an English speaking front reception personnel and more information regarding the hotel. Otherwise a nice visit. ,

Room Tip: Our room faced the Le Thanh Ton street , can't remember what floor was but a very nice room

Arrived in the afternoon.

Reception were friendly, however had a very bad understanding of English.

The room was very tired looking, with the elevator as slow as could be imagined. The air con was on the fritz 90% of the time. I was there with a group of 30. We all had the same issues.

The breakfast was super basic and not well done.

Good location, WiFi was meh, good views from balcony.

Also, we ran out of toilet paper on day one. Getting more was harder than you'd think. Good God.
