Absolutely amazing, for a nice cause. I'd recommend the pork belly. Prices were a little higher than classic Vietnamese restaurants, but I didn't mind. They were reasonable. The setting is beautiful! Some dishes wete a little on the small side, but mine was OK. Overall a great experience.

Located near a river canal in a beautiful old French colonial house at the end of an alleyway. This restaurant is run by a charity that provides for orphans and has been running for about 10 years. They give training in Hospitality services to these young people. There is a chef from America in the kitchen to provide guidance and training. The food is really nice, espescially the soft shell crab with tamarind sauce and the Vietnamese spring rolls, our daughter and her partner also enjoyed their food. The waiter was very good and the food presentation was excellent.Drinks reasonably priced. They rang a taxi for us to return to our hotel.

Beautiful colonial setting - very interesting decor. Food was very nice - on par with the other very good restaurants Saigon has to offer. Service was friendly and nice. If you arrive through the alleyway remember to ring the bell until someone comes and opens. Recommended.

What a wonderful evening. We arrived at the restaurant having shown the taxi driver the instructions (in Vietnamese from the Bloom website) to find a beautiful French colonial building run by a young group of people.
The service was excellent. The staff were attentive without being obtrusive.
And the dishes were delicious. And on top of this, it is a training facility for disadvantaged young people. What a great way to help their education with a very happy tummy.

I enjoyed my dinner here so much I came back for lunch the next day. The food was quite tasty; I really liked how there were some unexpected twists on traditional Vietnamese cuisine, so I felt like I was being exposed to something new and different. The building is lovely and I'm glad I read the reviews in advance, because I was able to tell my taxi driver to go all the way to the end of the alley! Very good service and I like that I was, in a sense, helping the staff in their service education. Eating here supports a wonderful non-profit organization--and leaves the tummy satisfied.
