It’s very easy to grab something simple and tasty, like sandwiches, different kinds of bubble teas, etc.

My girlfriend and I dropped by here a few times to get a drink. We only bought drinks so I can't say much about the food and the service. We've had the fresh ice tea, lemon/kamquat tea and the green apple tea, they were all very refreshing and they all hit the spot for us.

I have been to Cuoc Song De Dang many times; it is located at the intersection of Hai Ba Trung and Nguyen Thi Minh Khai (across from the French Consulate). It’s very easy to grab something simple and tasty, like sandwiches, different kinds of bubble teas, etc. The takeaway counter is always busy.

Food:
There are many kinds of fast food, like fried food, burgers, sandwiches, cupcakes, etc. The simple sandwich with egg, meat floss, and veggies costs VND 25,000 (~US$1.2), and most of the drinks cost around US$1.5-$2. The drinks and food are pretty simple but tasty.

Service:
Cuoc Song De Dang reminds me the bubble teas shops that you often saw in the early 90’s in Taiwan. However, there is much less flexibility of service in this Vietnamese version, for example, they have a set of fried chicken wings with fries, but you cannot only order fries. In fact, the staff seems confused as to why anyone would even want to order French fries by themselves or add them to a different meal. If the staff could be trained to be a bit more attentive and service orientated, this restaurant could be much better.
We have visited many times for lunch or for an afternoon snack. Some of the waitresses can speak English, and the menu has been partly translated into English. So it’s pretty easy to have a quick bite in Cuoc Song De Dang. However, we sometimes need to remind the staff about our order since they either forget or just move very slowly. For example, we have waited for 25 minutes for them to prepare a simple sandwich, and this was during the off-peak hour.
