Have to say I had reservations about staying in the back packer area in Ho Chi Mihn, but this was quickly dispersed once we arrived at Bich Duyen. The staff could not do enough to help and were always warning of potential dangers i.e. carrying a handbag and were jewellery etc. The breakfast was lovely and the room was so clean that once you take you shoes off at the front door there is nothing at all on the floor. The towels were changed every day as was the bed linen. The staff helped with finding somewhere to eat on our first night there and all the sights there is to see. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, it is so central and we would go back in a minute.

Having stayed in several hotels round Asia, in the mid range / budget price range, this was probably the nicest and almost the cheapest!
The rooms are spacious, clean and equipped with everything you need, the breakfast is great and the staff were fantastic. I foolishly left my passport in a taxi on arrival and the manager was fantastic in helping me get it back.
One of the best things is the location, right in the center of town, close to the market, near plenty of restaurants. The park is over the road and its great for an evening walk and watching all the locals dancing, exercising and socialising. We also walked to most of the attractions such as the post office, american war museum etc.
Would Highly recommend and Im sure most people would not be disappointed.

The Bich Duyen Hotel in the backpacker area of Saigon was really a good choice to stay at. Located in alley, it was quite fro the buzzle of the streets, and the staff working there was really friendly and helpful. The rooms were nicely furnished and clean, and a really good option for the price. I can only recommend staying at that hotel.

This hotel is clean, close to everything and has the best staff in Vietnam. Saigon (HCM) was the first place we stayed on our trip and was the best. Some other hotels look pretty but you won't get the amazing staff you will get here. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable, always remembered our names and gave us loads of advice on where to eat, visit etc. They really are the main reason that this hotel was my favourite on the trip. The location is fantastic - a fairly easy walk to all of the main sites and is located down a small alley so you don't have as much noise as you would normally on the main streets. Don't think about it - just book it!

Spotless, friendly and very helpful at a reasonable price. What more could you want? In reference to the review that mentions a 'curfew' this is not the case there is still someone on night duty and you are not locked out. Its not a party hostel that's all. Bich Duyen is great place to stay in Saigon,

Room Tip: Some have no windows ... but that's not as bad as it sounds.
