The place and food is simple, but super effective! We simply googled "best burgers in HCMC" as we were craving a burger after our travels through Asia and this happened to be across the park from us. We are SO glad we stumbled across this hidden gem!! Fast service, all very friendly and speak English (though we should probably learn more Vietnamese). Cost us about 430k dong total (between 2) for 2x double cheese burgers, 2x fries, 2x drinks and onion rings which is incredibly reasonable for the area. (Most places are expensive in this area and add on tax and service tax - but this place does NOT)
We only wish we were staying longer so we could come back again!
Ps you must try the Saigon Charlie's Vietnam smoked chili sauce they have on the tables! its good!! Thanks again!!
The food is good and the burger was not over done. I had a very tasty single cheese burger and the fries were also good. They had a smoked chilly sauce which I could not get enough of. I would go back here if the Western Craving hit whilst I'm still here.
Sometimes you just get a hankering for a burger. This was my first western meal after working my way from Hanoi to Hoi Chi Minh. Chuck's didn't disappoint! Delicious burgers, delicious fries, and a sense of humor!
Looks like they also have a 15 patty + fries burger challenge that only 2 have defeated if you're feeling adventurous.
I had a plain cheeseburger with all the free trimmings and was impressed. It reminded me of what a Whopper looks like in the adverts, but without the thorough disappointment of the reality of the Whopper. Saw the onion rings come out and they looked good but was too full for more.
The patty was a good size - not too high or big/small for the bun. The grilled onions were a nice step-up in quality. All the sauces were not too overpowering and having complementary sauces (mustard, hot sauce, ketchup) on the counter is always a good sign of service.
Friendly staff and a nice space. Highly recommend if you are craving but not wanting to cave to the chains.
