It is about 5 minutes walk to Ben Thanh market and to the centre of Saigon about a 10 minute walk and you will be at the Vincom centre.
The staff are freindly and helpful
Rooms have one at the back of the hotel a triple room or family room.
This is large enough and has a a good size bathroom.
Wifi is ok.
It is a perfectly good budget hotel only gripe was the price for the family room higher then it should have been

Room Tip: Rooms at the back of the hotel with windows ( natural daylight)

Staff were very accommodating in run up to our stay but upon arrival room really smelled badly of urine. Filthy towel soaked with urine in corner. Staff tried to clean but no use. Had to check out next morning. Noisy corridors. Not suitable for a family. More appropriate for backpackers.

I stayed here for a week in December 2014. I loved coming back every night to the hotel :3

First things first, the entrance is smaller than you expect. You can easily miss it if you don't look carefully enough, especially at night.

One minute walk away from Ben Thanh market (In fact if I wanted to take a taxi back to the hotel from wherever I was, I would just say Ben Thanh market instead of giving them the hotel name or address, since it was much easier. Motorcycle taxi drivers in Saigon are typically very bad with directions, and don't know where they are going most of the time). Five minute walk to Independence Palace. Ten minute walk to Notre Dame Cathedral and Central Post Office. Fifteen minute walk to War Remnants Museum. Twenty minute walk in the opposite direction to Pham Ngu Lao & Bui Vien street. Many restaurants and convenience stores nearby.

They serve free breakfast from 6:30 - 9:30AM in the basement room (level below reception). Typically they will have:
- White bread which you can put in a toaster. There is also jam and butter.
- Congee from a bowl (This was GOOD)
- A plate of fruits (watermelon or pineapple)
- Coffee/tea (Didn't try)
- Orange Juice
- A limited a la carte menu consisting of vermicelli noodles and fried eggs. You point to the item you want to the red-top lady staff standing around and they will prepare it and bring it to your table.

Room is cleaned everyday between 9AM and 4PM. They will do your laundry for you - there is a basket in the bathroom labelled laundry. They will take the laundry when they are cleaning your room, and return it to your room the next day.

Wifi is laggy. When I was watching Youtube the videos would always play for maybe 20 seconds, then have to load for another few seconds, and repeat in this cycle.

Only a few staff members are capable of speaking English. The white-shirted staff who sit in front of the hotel will open the door for you as you enter or leave the hotel. Sometimes they will recommend you a motorcycle taxi driver and try to discourage you from taking the motorcycle taxi just around the corner. DO NOT take their recommended motorcycle taxi driver as it the ride will be overpriced. The staff will also give you a couple of brochures containing information on tours which you can purchase at the reception desk. DO NOT buy these tours as they are more than double the price of what you can find nearby. I suggest you shop around on Pham Ngu Lao for tours.

Overall a bit expensive, but will more than suffice for the solo traveller. Despite a few shortcomings, I genuinely enjoyed my stay here!

it is located on the back of ben Thanh market but away from the noice there. the rooms are clean but the furniture are abit old and the bed is a bit hard. towels are a bit old and needs to be replaced. toilet assories are provided but you need to pay with the mineral water. the single room is without windows. there is a lift for your conveience.

Breakfast is good for the price you pay. You have bread with butter and jam, chicken noodles, porridge and fruits.

Staff's are friendly and service is good. the room had a faulty lock and they were willing to offer me a new new room. Alot of food stalls around the area. Free wifi in the room

Room Tip: the floor is ceramic tiles and an be a bit slippery when wet.
