Hotel looks fancy from the outside but as soon as you go up the lift it’s all down hill from there. Rooms need a serious upgrade! Worst bathrooms ever!
The people on the front desk have shocking service.
Breakfast is not good at all. Breakfast staff and door man were lovely.

Although doorknob is broken, the staff came to fix it as soon as possible. There's no housekeeping since its a 3-star hotel, but it is near a place where there's car-free on the weekend which I enjoy the most during my stay in Vietnam.

Spent a week here a the end of January. After a day outside in the noise and bustle of Hanoi, it was a great peaceful base to come back to. The is a lovely old-style (1920s architecture) feel to the rooms and the public spaces. I found the staff friendly and helpful, organising taxis, recommending best local street food.

And it's a short walk from the lake and the old quarter -- good location for both tourism and business.

We made this hotel our headquarters during our visit to Hanoi last month. All in we stay a total of 6 nights though not consecutively. Rooms are spacious with clean towels and bedsheets. The staff obliged our request for extra pillows during all the 6 stays. Breakfast is nothing to shout about though the pho was nice ...steaming hot on cold winter mornings.
Try ordering room service food. much cheaper than outside hawkers especially the pho.
The hotel management was kind enough to have wine and desserts served free to staying guests to usher in the new year. The staff was ever willing to keep our bags when we check out to go to other places in Hanoi. Though it is rated 3 stars but i think they deserve a 4 star for service.

Travelling for 2 months and this hotel offers the least value for money of any hotel I’ve been to. The staff on reception, don’t smile and are very curt, offering no warmth whatsoever. During check in we were left feeling like they really didn’t want us to stay. The room I’d put in maybe a 2 star hotel, the bed small, the air con system must be maybe 30/40 years old and makes an almighty noise, and the bathroom again is I’d expect to find in a 1/2 star (I’ve had nicer bathrooms in homestays!) and this claims to be a 3.5/four star hotel? At £36 a night and above I’d give this a wide berth
