My second booking with this lovely and humble hostel. Hanoi hostel had everything I would want a good hostel in the city to have. The staff is not just friendly, but genuinely cares about your trip both in the city and even giving tips for the rest of the area. It is well located in Old Quarter (walking distance to many to go places in Hanoi) but yet it is not noisy at night so you can get a good sleep after a long day out. The rooms and facilities are clean and comfortable and the prices are affordable. It's been a few months since I last stayed here and I was very pleased with room renovations and guest-experience changes since last time with new beds, pillows, bathrooms, rooftop terrace and repainted walls. They have a rooftop where you can have your free breakfast and then free beers in the evening. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting beautiful Hanoi!

I had a great stay at Hanoi hostel though it is just one night Some of the great things include: - privacy curtains - comfortable bed - individual reading lights & locker, table - very chill rooftop

The staffs are very friendly and helpful, as they would try their best to accommodate my requests, recommend the popular diner based on my budget. I also booked my tour & ticket through them, it is so convenient and hassle free :) It was a great experience, I will definitely stay here again!

This is definitely one of my favourite hostels in Hanoi.
I've stayed here for the best part of three weeks and have loved it.
It's a chilled out place with a good breakfast and free beer every night on the rooftop terrace.
The staff are super friendly and always willing to help and have a chat, super sweet!
It's close enough to the main backpacker areas and has some great restaurants.
It's a home away from home.

I first stayed in here last December and decided to stay again in February until now. The staff are nice, they'd be willing to answer all of your queries. The location is not at the center of the old quarter which is good for me as I want to stay at a quiet place. They do have a rooftop where you can have your free breakfast and then free beers in the evening. I'm really having a good stay at this hostel. It's a nice find in the middle of the city.

I had a great time at this hostel. Little over 5 dollars per night inleder a free breakfast and free beer for an hour in the evening. I liked this place so much I stayed here all the 10 days of my Hanoi visit. It was on a quiet enough street, and the hostel was a calm place. Great if you need to chill down from the hustle and bustle of the city after a adventerous day. It was also in a perfect place. Close enough to Old Quarter without being in that mess, and close enough to the more real parts of the city. The receptionists were always friendly and helpful and the beds comfortable. If you are looking for party this is the wrong hostel, but I met some great people here. No one was disrespectful against dorm policies and were quiet come evening. 5/5 recommended
