I have been coming to Hanoi for work for the last three years. And for the last two years, I've been staying at Conifer Boutique Hotel. Not only it's in the center of the city, but Conifer Boutique hotel also locates in one of the most charming streets in Hanoi. Aside from that, the staff is very efficient in helping me with my booking and always making sure to accommodate all my travel needs. Thank you to the hotel's manager, Chung and his assistants who are always very professional and extremely friendly to all the guests.

Kim Tran

Room Tip: Choose a room with a view so you can see the city.

This hotel is a really nice little spot in the French quarter, South Hanoi. It’s location is great, very safe and close enough to everything. The rooms are excellent, comfy and large, effective AC and quiet away from the noise of the City. It does exactly what you need if you’re looking for comfort after a long day exploring.

I felt compelled to write a review here though for a reason beyond the hotel itself. My girlfriend and I arrived at the hotel at 6am having arrived back from Sapa on an 8 hour overnight train. Of course we didn’t sleep much and were extremely tired to the point of distress when we got there. The staff were wonderful, understood our needs and worked hard to get our room ready as early as possible for no extra cost so that we could have a well needed rest. It was so very appreciated and well above and beyond what they had to do so thanks very much.

For this reason along with it being a charming place in a good location I suggest you book here :)

If it's location your looking for this is worth considering, it's a Gem, I found the bathroom's are in need of refurbishment, if you're large in stature or past negotiating bath tubs to access a shower, then this may not be for you, I felt a little clostaphobic. Remembering this is a boutique hotel so no gym, pool or sky bar etc. it's kept very clean and offers great food and good value. Facilites are minimal, therefore can't be compared to global hotel chains, no gym, pool or sky bar etc. All staff are a credit to this wonderful establishment, we look forward to visiting Hanoi and the Conifer boutique hotel again.

Room Tip: If your looking for a balcony then the front of the hotel is the go !

Stayed in this hotel for a quick trip to Hanoi. The location is ideal near the lake but in a quieter high-end area and just far enough away from the craziness of the market. The hotel staff was very friendly and offered great recommendations for restaurants, banks and things to see. They went above and beyond offering to open up a room for us and let us shower after returning a late afternoon after an overnight trip to Halong Bay.

Rooms are modest and smaller but that was expected in the city. The shower was a bit tall and awkward but bathroom and room were both clean and sufficient

There is a reason we return to the Conifer Hotel every year. It offers a clean, efficient rooms in a quiet neighborhood in central Hanoi. Within blocks are a number of bars (Tadioto) and restaurants, as well as Hoan Kiem Lake. And old town is nearby. The staff is worth special mention. They are extremely helpful, attentive, friendly, and speak English well (other languages, too). Excellent value for business or comfortable pleasure.
