Chef Jose is a real character and a perfect host, lovely homely surroundings in an old Thai house. Out of the way location which only adds to the charm, eaten here many times and never disappointed. My favorites are the pan fried foie gras, duck in red wine, hand cut French fries just like my mum used to make. 5 hour lamb also great, but you haven't had a creme brûlée unless you try the rhubarb creme brûlée here. Saying that the red berry cup is also had to beat for dessert. Plus if you love French cheese ask for the cheese board, it's the best in town.
