Walking Street is a must see, but for me a one time only event. It's really a circus. This restaurant however provides you with a haven amid the bustle outside. Walking through to the back, you end up on the deck above the sea. The food was excellent, the house wine good and reasonably priced. We sampled different dishes, all were well prepared and tasty. Fast and friendly service.
The pasta dish was not bad, I like my pasta a little more al dente but the flavor was pretty good. I didn't try the pizza but it looked promising. Definitely overpriced due to the seaside location on walking street.
good food, bad service.
Owner did not allow us to order appetizer while looking through the menu for main course, but order all at once because "more easy for them". Beer served as if you¨re at a gogo. no wine list given. not asked for another drink when glasses empty after the appetizer. plate taken away before everyone finished eating. all in all a bad experience. and not to forget to mention the annoying food elevator that sounds like a fire alarm every 3 minutes
We came last night with my sons and girlfriend.
The service and staff was good but a shame about one of the main courses, the lasagne! The four mains came out and they started their meals and had to chase mine. When it did appear it was so dry , nothing like a lasagne and tasteless. Such a shame as our first visit and would not hurry back.
