By just about anyone’s standards, this is an impressive property. We were 8 friends (two couples, four singles) finishing a trip to Thailand with three days on Samui. We decided to splurge a bit, and if the truth be known the water slide was the clincher.
The sticky point with this property is the payment arrangements. We booked through booking.com but were required to transfer the payment direct to the owner in Switzerland. There have been other comments about this on TripAdvisor and there is no way to put it other than to state that direct transfer to the owner does not provide much by way of comfort. To get around this, we relied on the previous comments on this forum (to assure us that the property actually existed!) and I used Paypal as there are some protections built into that as a payment method. But still it made for a nervousness that is not good when planning holidays.
I’m pleased to be able to report that the property does exist, and that we had no problem with the payment being received, and the services delivered.
The property is impeccable (except for the lounge suite in the main living area which is in need of a re-upholstering – but small criticism indeed). Unfortunately it is only cleaned once every three days, which given staff are living on-site is something that could be rectified easily. An unpleasant side-effect of this cleaning policy was the smell from the toilet paper bins after about day 2. Even if these were emptied daily, it would go a long way to overcoming this criticism.
We utilised the services of Chef Thu Thu on three occasions and all agreed that her cooking was the equal (if not better) than offerings around the island. Phyo was our resident house boy and he looked after us when tonic water stocks got too low. Both Thu Thu and Phyo are delightful people.
By way of making this property even better, may I suggest that meter readings are done in the present of the client (we only received the opening meter reading a day after we arrived)?
All in all, this property is exceptional. I would not hesitate to recommend it.

This place is hide in a coco tree forest but yet only 10 minutes walk away from the beach and restaurants. We enjoy very much the food cooked by the in-house chef here, from breakfast to lunch, dinner.
Whenever we feel like shopping in the Central mall, having dinner in Fisherman's village, or just have a cup of afternoon coffee in the beach, the villa staff can always arrange a nice and big van for us. In short,we are being pampered nicely by the villa staffs.
My parents and daughter all have a great time here during our 5 day stay in the villa.
WOW. When in your life will you be able to say you lived in a private villa in Koh Samui, completely surrounded by banana plantation with a private water slide! This place is everything it is advertised as, the rooms are stunning, three of the bathrooms have jacuzzi's overlooking the magnificent view, of the other three bedrooms, two had ensuite bathrooms and one bathroom outside. The pool table was constantly in use and the water slide definitely got used everyday we were staying there! You wouldn't believe how fast it goes - its definitely an adrenalin rush!
Chris who greeted us was extremely polite and referred within a manual to places to eat, rent mopeds and left us at ease with everything. We only ate at the villa once which I regret because the food was probably one of the best meals I had in my two week stay in Thailand: Massaman Beef and Chicken/Hokkien noodles - perfect!
Location wise, its a bit further away then Mae Nam but with the amount of people that you'd rent this villa with, the price per head to get around was never more than 100 baht in a tuk tuk/van.(around $4AUD.) If you have the opportunity to stay in Koh Samui with a big group of family and friends, I could not recommend this more. It is only a small amount of people who will be able to experience this!
There's also a mini bar so if you need a drink/snack you're covered and it comes out of the deposit. There was a problem with the WIFI to begin with but Chris fixed it really quickly: it was pretty good strength house wide but best on 2nd floor. I won't upload photos because everything is as it appears.
Thank you Chris!

As you can see I am a top contributor to Trip Advisor with many many reviews. I do not always give excellent ratings and I am in a real quandary here.... because this place is truly amazing and I would love to keep it all to myself rather than tell everyone how good it is and then find it is fully booked when I want to return next time and the next time and the next time...... but that would be selfish of me and I had such an incredible time here, I have to let other people share in the enjoyment of Lulu Villa
A picture say a thousand words and pictures you can see on trip advisor and other sites of this place are 100% correct and accurate. This place is truly amazing.
We were treated to a full cooked breakfast every morning, which was followed by fresh cut fruit by the local Villa Cook (Dao) who was friendly and great. One morning we had planned a snorkelling excursion, so we needed to leave the villa early, so she started a lot early to ensure we were fed and fuelled for the day out. Honestly she didn't need to, but it was great that she was so flexible to accommodate us.
The area of Mae Nam / Bang Po where the Villa is located has great sunsets and is on the quieter side of the island. It has some great places to eat right on the beach, only a few minutes away. The whole area is so chilled out and relaxing. Try out the place called "Relax" on the beach 5 minutes away
Lulu Villa comes with Wi-Fi, which worked great as well as cable TV, which had a massive selection of channels. In addition it comes with a ton of DVD's and games. The snooker table and foosball table were the biggest hits though.
The pool area and incredible water slide are as per the pictures and video. It can be very fast, subject to how fast you want to go.
This place is great for a couple of large families, or 3 average size families, or even a group of friends who want a relaxing get away. The place is large and fully equipped.
We will definitely recommend Lulu Villa and will return to here again for sure.
TIP 1 - Due to no neighbours for miles and you have the place to yourselves, nudity is no problem. Nude water sliding is extremely fast, fun and if you are really adventurous, try it at night :-)
TIP 2 - Because it is in nice quiet area, I would recommend either renting scooters, or a car to get around. It is not the sort of place you can just wave down a passing taxi. The great thing is Chris from Lulu Villa arranged a very nice modern rental car for us at a very good rate. Driving here on the Island is a breeze and very easy.

Me and my friends had a mazing time staying at this Villa. It had everything we needed and was very luxurious. It was easy to travel round the island and equally enjoyable to spent time relaxing by the pool in the luxury villa. My friend bought her children who could not get enough of the pool and the villa was big enough that we could listen to music with a glass of wine in the evening without waking the kids up. I highly recommend this villa as a magical place to stay in Koh Samui
