We booked Mr Samui for a car tour of Koh Samui island. He was on vacation but his brother “Mr Thailand” looked after us. We started by discussing the sorts of thing we wanted to see and he helped us plan a good itinerary and made some very good suggestions on where we might go. Very clean and well looked after van and very comfortable driving in a country where the roads are a bit of a free-for-all.
We had a thoroughly enjoyable day out - Crystal Bay and Jungle Club were great finds - and got a real feel for the island especially away from the big tourist centres.

I was extremely grateful to be able to book a driver with very little time in advance to explore the island as a solo traveler with a restricted schedule. It was also easy to book (through WhatsApp) and pick up was for the same morning as my initial inquiry.
My driver, Chicken, was extremely knowledgeable - sharing facts about the island and places of interest as we went along. I honestly was not expecting this level of service so it was a nice surprise. He really goes above and beyond for his work.
I would recommend Me Samui of you are happy to pay a bit more (although it would not be so bad if split between multiple people) for a comfortable, efficient, safe and high quality service
We and another couple from our hotel booked the six hour around island tour with Mr Samui after a recommendation from another hotel guest.
Chicken rocked up on time in a well kept and clean mini van that could possibly hold eight passengers, so we had plenty of room to stretch out. Chicken proposed a route around the island and we threw in a few sights we wanted to see and we set off.
The time flew by and couldn’t believe it when we had to return to our hotel (can extend by the hour if you wish). Chicken was so versed in the sights of the island that we all learnt a lot. We had fun and laughs at his stories and his English was excellent.
Oh late in the trip we decided we wanted to try Durian so Chicken took us to a roadside fruit store to try some fruit.
A highly recommend day trip that was great value as well.
Mr Chicken was so lovely and taught me so much and made me laugh a lot. I saw so many interesting things and we got round the whole island. I was in a very comfortable car and the price was very reasonable. Would definitely recommend. Georgie
We had a lovely time with Mr Thailand on a tour of Koh Samui. He was prompt to pick us up from the hotel, with a lovely, spacious car. We enjoyed the tour, apart from the Namuang Waterfall. My mother, who was on crutches after a knee operation, was on the tour. He didn't tell us that there would be a steep 40 min climb to see the waterfall. As a tour guide, I would expect this information to be given to us before we attempted the fall. Everything else was fantastic on the tour! He showed us everything we wanted to see, and we enjoyed our day! He provided us with lots of cold water during the journey which was much needed.
