We had a lovely time with Mr Thailand on a tour of Koh Samui. He was prompt to pick us up from the hotel, with a lovely, spacious car. We enjoyed the tour, apart from the Namuang Waterfall. My mother, who was on crutches after a knee operation, was on the tour. He didn't tell us that there would be a steep 40 min climb to see the waterfall. As a tour guide, I would expect this information to be given to us before we attempted the fall. Everything else was fantastic on the tour! He showed us everything we wanted to see, and we enjoyed our day! He provided us with lots of cold water during the journey which was much needed.
We had an island tour with Phot who spoke very good English and was very informative. We saw all of the main sights on the island and he took us to other beaches that we hadn’t read about. His vehicle was spotlessly clean and safe; his driving was careful too. Highly recommend.
We had MrTai for 6 hours touring the Island in a great looking air conditioned van. The inside WOW. He speaks great english and full of knowledge. Totally recommend.
Booked a 6 hour day tour around Koh Samui with Mr Tai. He was a wonderful guide! Lovely mini van and showed us every where we wanted to see. Would recommend.
We were satisfied with our full day private tour around Samui. It was an excellent way to get a feel for most of the island.
We worked with four guides during our 22 night stay in Thailand and each had a different approach. I would rank this one #3 of 4. It wasn’t bad, it was just not as good as two of the others.
We booked several months in advance and gave them a general outline of what we wanted to see - beaches, significant Wats, no elephants. They organized a day to meet our needs. Mr. Chicken added a few things that were not on our list like Grandfather and Grandmother Rocks which we gave a thumbs up, and Lamai Fishing Village, which was just so, so; but overall, it was a good day.
We was waiting for us about 10 minutes before the scheduled pick-up time. His English was excellent. He was knowledgeable and professional. The 9 passenger van was clean, very comfortable, and in very good repair. We were comfortable with his driving.
We felt the price was fair.
